    Q5137 Boston Common. More pictures. C 1930. Beautiful example of a sought-after pattern. This quilt looks great hanging or on a bed. Wonderful bright color palette. All hand-pieced except for the binding. Quilted by the piece and in a cross-hatch grid in the border, at 7 stitches per inch. Set and backed with off-white cotton muslin. Separately applie blue binding. Washed, clean, excellent condition. 80x82.  $595

    Q5176 Feathered Star. More pictures. C1880, IL. Striking, early quilt. A great pattern done cheddar and indigo blue. The colors are very vibrant and really pop! Nice assortment of fabrics in the blocks. Entirely hand pieced. Quilted at 6-7 stitches per inch in straight lines, 1/2 to 3/4 in. apart. Thin cotton batting; muslin back; separately applied indigo binding. Unused, unwashed condition. A few spots in the cheddar. 71x86.  $350

    Q4093 Turkey Tracks. See full-size picture C 1900, Abilene, TX. Nice country quilt done in teal, brown, yellow and white (all solids). Pieced pattern that looks like applique. Very good condition. One green leaf has been repaired. 64 x 75. Close up.  Shown on bed.    Close up of the repair.  $250.

    Q4938 Pots of Flowers. More pictures. C1930. Pieced and appliqued blocks. Pretty color combination with two shades of pink, green and blue, set on true white cotton ground. Quilted at 7 stitches per inch, in floral designs and in a fiddlehead fern design in the border. Very thin batting. White cotton back. Edges of back and top are turned in a stitched to form the binding. Very good, clean condition. 76x76.  $325

    Q5091 Applique Oakleaf and Reel. More pictures C1860-1880, probably PA; found in NY. Stunning graphic quilt with intense colors of dark brown and green set on chrome orange ground. Inner sawtooth border in brown and green. Early peach print backing. Rolled binding from front to back. Well quilted with abstract floral designs, leaves, ferns, cross-hatching, and feather chains in the border. Quilted at 7 stitches per inch. Hand appliqued with tiny stitches; machine pieced blocks and borders. Thin cotton batting. Unwashed, excellent condition. Exhibited at Plano Quilt Show in 2005. Has sleeve for hanging. Very large, 84 x 98. Note: colors in close-up photos are off due to the flash.   $1495

    Q4808 Applique Tulips. More pictures. C1930, PA. Unusualy, folky pattern. Nice applique work on the flowers, in solids colors, pieced to quality muslin. Large blocks are lavishly quilted with feather wreaths. Borders are quilted with cables, circles and leaves. About 7 stitches per inch. Blocks and borders are machine assembled. Thin batting; white muslin backing; separately applied red binding. Excellent condition; clean, sturdy, useable quilt. 78x78  $425
