    Q3608 Postage Stamp. More pictures. C 1930. There are over 5,000 pieces in this gorgeous eighty-one patch quilt, set on the diagonal! Entirely hand-pieced from pleasing 30s prints. The pieces measure 3/4 in. Quilt is beautifully framed with three borders. Heavily quilted in pumpkin seeds and a one-inch grid in the center; and a floral vine in the border. Quilted at 8-9 stitches per inch. Quilt is initialed "MB" and there is a number which is hard to read. From southern Ohio. Very good condition; some light spots. Very large: 81x90.  $1750

    Q5027 Jacob's Ladder. More pictures. C1930. Medium blue and white quilt with inner sawtooth border. Double-line and straight-line quilting at 8-9 stitches per inch. Good, clean condition. Has been washed. Slight binding wear. 78 x 80.  $495.

    Q2890 Postage Stamp Many Trips. See full-size picture C1910. Collector quilt with over 9,200 pieces! Each block is a work of art, a miniature "Trip Around the World," made of 3/4-inch squares in vibrant prints and calicoes. The blocks are surrounded by two rows of triangles. The camera doesn't begin to capture the many vibrant colors and prints in this quilt. Green calico border and an indigo blue back. Quilted in diamonds and straight lines at 5-6 stitches per inch. Excellent condition. 75 x 88.  $1950

    Q4684 Applique Cutwork with history & appraisal. More pictures. Dated and signed in embroidery in center: "Presented to Asa S. Knechel buy his mother 1898". This quilt was donated to the Kent County Maryland League of Women Voters for a fund-raising raffle. Nine applique/reverse applique blocks done in red and white. Quality fabrics and workmanship. Heavily quilted in cables, grids and diagonal lines at 6-9 stitches per inch. Probably quilted by more than one person; all stitching is neat and even. White cotton back and separately applied white cotton binding. Excellent, unused, unwashed condition. Some very light stains. Sleeve for hanging 72x72.  $795

    Q5035 Princess Feather. More pictures C1930. Extremely graphic applique quilt. Solid blue and orange on true white ground. Well sewn. Quilted inside the appliques and in a diamond grid over the background, at 8-9 stitches per inch. Thin cotton batting; white backing and orange binding. Excellent, clean condition. A few light spots. One tiny snag tear has been repaired. 69x84.  $375

    Q5070 Star of Bethlehem. More pictures. C1930, MA. Well made, colorful star set on ivory-white background. Quilted around each diamond and in straight lines 3/4 in. apart, at 6-7 stitches per inch. Thin batting; pink back, separately applied blue binding. Excellent condition. Has been washed. One light spot. 81x90.  $275.
